Sophie's 7th Birthday

Sophie's cute cake. It had kittens and butterfly's on it. It was made by Sophie's friend's mother who runs a bakery out of her home. It was so cute we didn't want to eat it. We waited until Sunday when Wade, Jodie, Rachel and Aubrey came to celebrate with us. It sure it fun to have them close.

We celebrated Sophie's birthday by going to Gattiland. She took her friend Savannah, and even though the place was a zoo, everyone seemed to have a good time.

This is a bad picture of Sophie and Savannah. It's time to get a new camera. Something is wrong, or maybe it's just the photographer.

Sophie's main gift was a bike. She didn't seem overly thrilled when she first saw it, but she has since decided that it is great fun.

Iron Bog Hike

I thought that I would post a few photos from one of our trips to our family cabin this past summer. We hiked to Iron Bog. It was a great hike and the lake was beautiful. We can't wait for summer and the chance to do some more hiking.

Aiden takes a turn

There is a tree near our cabin in Mackay, Idaho with a long chain attached to it. You give a running start, and swing way out over the ground. It's really quite exhilarating. Aiden was willing to be one of the first to try it out. The only part that was truly scary was the landing, at least for Karen and Julie.
